We began our evening with and amuse bouche of dip topped with Caviar and chips as well as an amuse booze of a signature cocktail. Such a perfect gesture to start our evening. We ordered two of their signature cocktails that set the tone for the night. The IDGAF Old fashioned, although a bit on the pricey side, bold and flavorful and topped with 24K edible Gold The Shady Lady was refreshing and included a semi secret detail of a metal straw with an etched message that was cute and unique. For starters, we thoroughly enjoyed The wood-grilled Spanish octopus And The Fork & Knife Caesar salad Both were delicious! For our Main event, The Alaskan Crab Lamb Chops And The Baked & Loaded Potatoes Were absolutely perfection! Our visit was a celebration of my partner's birthday and Maple & Ash went above and beyond to honor the occasion. A personalized menu, artfully designed with his name was presented and made our evening more special and memorable. I 100% recommend this restaurant for any celebration or simply a night when you want to be treated to something extraordinary! ”

“ Came here for my husbands birthday and we had a nice night out. The complimentary cocktail taster was a nice touch when we first sat down. We split the wedge salad which was fantastic, the meatballs were just OK. Massive wine list with lots of good options. Steaks came out cooked to order and my husband loved the truffle fries. Service is really attentive. This was a fun, fancy night in the city. ”

“ Came here for brunch with the fam. M&A does not disappoint! We went all out and got the baller fire roasted seafood tower. I never would have considered anything other than raw seafood towers, but, M&A made me a believer of the roasted version. We ordered a couple of cocktails and they were perfection: something Jorge (forgot the name) and unnecessary attention. The carpaccio was amazing!!! I couldn't eat some of the order dishes due to celiac, but overall , we all had an amazing meal. I'll come back to try the IDGAF Champagne menu for brunch ”

“ Came here for brunch and had the best time. Interior is stunning, we had a corner booth and it was cozy. Our waitress was great, very friendly. The cocktail and caviar bites they started with were great. The cocktail was very refreshing. I started with a Bloody Mary which was perfect. I later on got a shady lady, this was okay. For food we got the golden kaluga caviar. This came with bagels and chips. Stunning presentation and so good. We also got the king crab roll. This was amazing. So flavorful, the crab was amazing. Overall had the best time, can't wait to return. ”

“ My birthday dinner was at Maple & Ash like so many other people dining in. It was one of the BEST birthday dinners I've ever had, if not THE best. Immediately I was smacked in the face with luxury and attentiveness. After checking our coats downstairs we took the elevator up to the restaurant, which is dark, sexy, gorgeous, opulent, and warm. Decor is beautiful, and very detailed and well thought out. As we were led to our table, I was thoroughly impressed. This would only continue through the night. My partner and I were seated at an intimate corner booth, by one of the windows and shortly thereafter were greeted by our server, who was an absolute gem. She came over with a replica of the menu that you may've seen on Instagram. This is part of the birthday experience and my menu said "HAPPY F*@KING BIRTHDAY ZACK." I was obsessed. We were also brought complimentary birthday cocktails which made me feel even more special. We ordered some cabs as well, and the server helped me decide which one I wanted to order. After that, we were brought caviar topped dip with chips and bread with butter. All of this was exquisite. The caviar was so buttery and smooth going down, which just exemplifies the quality. Barely an ounce of fishy taste whatsoever. From there, we ordered the Maple & Ash Wedge salad to share, each of us ordered a 32-Day Dry-Aged Bone-In NY Strip steak medium rare, and we also ordered the whipped & buttered potatoes and winter squash for the table. The salad was beyond and every part of it, played off the other and landed in a marriage of flavors that made my body physically relax with the rush of dopamine it was getting. The salad also came with an onion ring which was easily the best I've had. (Granted my experience with onion rings is pretty limited to fast food/chains, but still) The potatoes were butter incarnate and light, fluffy, and extremely easy to eat, the squash was so flavorful, and unique! Portions were big enough that we were able to bring both sides home for leftovers. Lastly, the star of the show, the steak, was like cutting into butter, with a full-bodied flavor that actually made my eyes roll back for a split second. Tastebuds were eating good! Oh! As is customary for a birthday, we did also order dessert and while there were SO many options (dangerous for someone like me with a massive sweet tooth), I ultimately chose the roasted apple galette, which was light, airy, flaky and warmed my entire body. Especially with the caramel that was drizzled over the dish in front of us. The presentation of every dish was beautiful and completed the experience. Truly a romantic place, a romantic night, and a birthday dinner/experience I will never forget. Thank you Maple & Ash! ”

“ If you are trying to have a nice and I mean NICE dinner, look no further than Maple & Ash. The vibes here are intimate but definitely sway more towards romantic. We were sat near other couples which I appreciated. We did see groups of friends and I would assume a dinner/work party as well. Our waiter was awesome, service here as a whole is amazing - definitely welcoming and attentive but not overbearing. My husband brought me here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. The food was EXCELLENT. Our waiter gave us complimentary welcome cocktail drinks which were so good, not too sweet. We were also given a welcome dip which had caviar. The dip came with a side of house made potato chips. I had never had caviar before but damn was it good. The dip was the perfect little appetizer and we truly loved it. My husband and I ordered some drinks which were okay, nothing stood out to me on the specials so I got a margarita. I like that our waiter asked what kind go tequila I wanted. Our waiter recommended we try the ricotta agnolotti, which we got because I love truffle. It was so soft, creamy, and full of flavor. Definitely warm and a great way to begin my meal. I have a very sensitive stomach and cannot handle any red in my meat; our waiter did not shame me (at least not in front of me) for asking my steak be cooked well done and he offered to have it butterflied, which I prefer. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The sides we got; mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, and roasted asparagus were okay but none of them really stood out. For dessert we go the build your own sundae which was cool. You get a little tower with a bunch of different toppings along with a cup of Neapolitan ice cream. Definitely a great meal but I'm not entirely sure if the price was worth it. ”

“ Our friends had raved about Maple & Ash for so long, we were excited to finally try it. I loved that they started with a complimentary drink and the service was very attentive as we settled in for the meal. Of course, I got my own drink - the Scotch Scotch Scotch which was awesome. I don't know why they have a couple cocktails atop the main menu but the rest of the cocktails in the back of the wine menu. But the Scotch Scotch Scotch was absolutely delicious, well crafted, smooth but smokey. I started with the octopus and then got a steak and split some brussels with my wife. The octopus was quite good but not great, especially when compared to the steak. The steak was sublime. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection, a great wood fire and light smoke to it, not overly powerful smoke, but well seasoned. Really delicious. Easily one of my now top-2 steaks in the city. Would definitely return! ”
